A brief overview
For as long as I can remember I have been creating art, my first major piece being a rocket ship I painted onto the fridge, aged 4. To the relief of my parents I soon found new mediums to express my creativity.
Through school I consistently achieved top grades in art which led me onto an Art and Design course at College. After leaving College, I went to University where I achieved a BA honours degree in Design. In my time at University my work became completely computer based and my final degree show was all digitally produced.
Shortly after finishing my degree I landed my first job as a Graphic Designer at a publishing house. While this may not have been the most creative role, It taught me the harsh truths of the commercial world pretty quickly. When I had the opportunity to work for a web company it took me roughly 3 seconds to say yes. That was over 6 years ago and I have been producing websites ever since.
Online is now where I spend all my time. Constantly learning new skills and pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in web design. I'm always developing my technical knowledge and find myself in a great position of not only being able to design beautiful websites, but also to develop them. I can expertly hand code xhtml, css, and jquery. I have also built e-commerce and content managed websites using PHP based systems.
Now you know a little bit more about me, where to next?
