Harvey Nichols
This is a design concept I created to show how the Harvey Nichols website could be improved. The design complements the internationally renowned Harvey Nichols brand and captures the essence of the luxury products and services available both online and in stores.
The design was created to engage the viewer with a carefully considered user journey. The design stucture enables easy multiple page browsing and encourages viewers to make purchases both online and in store. The design offers several sticking points and areas of interest to engage the user, whilst promoting repeat visits.
The Details
Sign Up and Login buttons in the header across the site for easy access. The sign up button is also coloured to stand out more than the login to attract new users.
Features which all require user input to get more information are grouped together. These are all designed with a consistent format allowing the user to quickly familiarise with how they work.
A product rating tool which will be populated by users of the website. This gives the users an opportunity to add content to the site helping to create a community feel and increase the number of repeat visitors.
